This building is only about 10 years old, which makes a huge difference on this little island. Most places you stay in out here are masking much needed updates and damage. There are 2 different pool areas and one is "quiet pool" which is kind of a kids free area. 5 or 6 grill stations everyone has access to and plenty of resort activities for kids and adults. Westin focuses on wellness so they have pretty healthy meals offered, a great fitness center and their location is PERFECT for jogging walking and running on wide beautiful sidewalks. It's a nice spot to stay.
It is a beautiful resort. The gardens are spectacular and the view of the water is incredible. The only downside is that it is not on the beach. However you are permitted to use the St. Regis beach access which is a very nice beach and a few miles away by car.
Best place to stay! Great concierge service! Beautiful Views from your room! I had an incident that I needed Security to remove my guest and they were AWESOME and continued to monitor the area for my safety!
I must say this is a very nice place to stay, the resort was very clean and very well kept! Concierge service was great, food was so so and expensive. Room was very nice. Lots of pools and beautiful grounds.my child loved the kids club so much that she wanted to go additional days instead of going to the beach. Staff was spectacular.
Newish hotel with nice grounds. No beach access. Suite room layout is bad - there is limited closet space as closets are shared with trash cans and vacuum cleaner. There is a program where they don't clean your room in return for one free breakfast. There is a lot of fine print to this which they may not fully explain at check in when they ask you. One person still pays $30 for a breakfast that would be free at many hotels, it only applies the same day (so if you miss breakfast or have other plans no cleaning and no breakfast), and the last day it doesn't apply. I'm docking a star because there isn't enough value in this and I felt cheated at the end of the stay.
