I really enjoyed staying at the Makai Club Resort. The unit had a well supplied kitchen, so although we stayed only a few nights, it was like being in a furnished home. The kitchen was a good size for preparing meals. The washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient as each we spent each day hiking or in the water and did not want to travel with dirty laundry. I would definitely stay at the Makai Club Resort again.
There are many amenities and it is close to a lot of activities and nice beaches! We are really enjoying our time here! Mahalo Makai!
Great little place. We would stay again. Only draw back is the parking. We had to park very far away because there was no parking near our unit.
Amazing amazing resort! The condos are huge with big bedrooms and kitchens! It was amazing to be able to make breakfast and drink coffee in the morning looking at the amazing waterfalls coming off mount Waialeale. The view was never the same any day! Its perfect and near so much of the north shore!
I stayed in a cottage that had two master suites and a kitchen fully equipped. The living room area was spacious and the Lanai in the back was beautiful for sitting with coffee in the morning or dinner at night. The chickens all over the island are wild and the roosters will wake you up in the morning. Not the Resort's fault... just the way Kuwai is. I would highly recommend this Resort. It is a bit of a drive into Lihue where the airport is in most of the shopping but nothing is farther than 30 minutes. Several other shops are close by and restaurants in Hanalei are also within 15 minutes. Wonderful staff and a comfortable stay.
