Casual DinnerStopped by for an easy and quick dinner and got both. Good pizza, great service, huge salad and all of it was quick and easy. I recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a good and easy night.
We were told this place has some amazing views. That wasn't true. We were there for dinner and upon arrival we were told they had only pizzas and salads, and were short-staffed. The staff was really friendly, answered all our questions and helped select the right amount of food. The pizza was really tasty and the salad was delicious too, so don't get put off by the ugly carpet on the entrance stairs or the fact that you have to go two floors door to get to the washroom. Give them a try.
I loved that this was walkable from our hotel. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We ordered take out. It was fairly humid so wouldn't have wanted table service. We only ordered pizza. It had great flavor but the crust was super chewy and tough. If I was dying for amazing pizza this wouldn't be my first choice. But nice atmosphere and they did offer salads and other items.
Food was great! We got a 14" Half Meat & Half Combo pizza with a couple of drinks. Price was great, service was nice and the atmosphere was chill. Definitely will be back!
We must have gone on an off day because our experience was nothing like recent reviews. The pizza was the only redeeming factor, but even then it wasn't anything to rave about. So bottom line first - I would recommend take out instead of staying in the restaurant. For being a pub, they were incredibly limited on beer selections and were out of a lot of the leftover choices - they had maybe one local beer on tap? The salad was okay, very plain, but the "croutons" were harder than a rock and were more like giant pieces of burnt, stale bread. The house bread was also the same way - maybe we just landed the last of the batches? To make it worse, we had a terrible waitress. As soon as we sat down she said "We have beer, salad, and pizza. I'm out of all appetizers except this one." then walked away. Every time she spoke to us after that she acted as if she were bored and we were an inconvenience. Then, three younger men came in, drunk, loud, and incredibly inappropriate and apparently were her friend. She spent more time tending to their drink orders than to anything else, and it was disappointing that she did nothing to try and ask them to tone it down. It completely killed the vibe of dinner. The other two servers who brought us our food and drinks were very kind, however.
