Great grocery store to stock the house with food and snacks. Our teller was really nice. I want to go back for morning espresso since my favorite little coffee shop is no longer here.
An excellent grocery store with fair prices. A couple tips. Check out their weekly ad before you go in as they have good specials. Also, apply for a Maika'i card. You complete the application at checkout. It may save you quite a bit depending on what you purchase.
Foodland in Princeville is what happens when a necessary vendor has no local competition... This store carries reasonably good food options at outrageous prices, operated in a dirty and poorly managed facility.Although you will likely find what you need, the moldly ceiling tiles, high prices and 'dodgy' environment will leave you wanting for something better.
Very good supermarket in Kauai. Very good selections of local produce. Very good selection on healthy food products with decent price. Musubi, one of Hawaiian typical breakfast was also prepared here, and theyre quite tasty. There are also selections of poke that were quite good. Coffee Bean stall by the entrance with great coffee.
I like the convenience of the Princeville Foodland which is a clean and well organized store with very friendly employees! The comments about fair prices doesnt hold true. We moved here from NYC and find their prices comparable in many respects.
